Welcome to Anacapa Yacht Club Cruising. Our cruising is offered to both sail and power boats with a heavy emphasis on friends, family and fellow boaters.

Our venue will be of two types: “Scheduled Cruises” and “Flash Cruises”. Scheduled cruises will usually be on holiday weekends and pre-planned. Flash Cruises can be initiated by any club member when a weather window is favorable, usually within the week of the event and a group mailing will be available to all members.

Events and get togethers may require masks to be worn. We may take aerial photos by drone of boats at anchor which can be posted on the webpage. In order to identify our club boats, (most are white) you are invited to fly your AYC burgee along with the maritime signal flags F and C, flown below it for Flash Cruise.

Many of the boaters you will meet are seasoned skippers and crew. We invite AYC boaters that are new to cruising to enjoy and partake of the vast knowledge available to you from the other boaters in the group. Guests of AYC members are welcome to enjoy the outing.

All boaters are encouraged to monitor a prearranged VHF channel.
